Who wants to go to someone else's website
and read about him or her?!

portrait

Normally you probably wouldn't.  But in your effort to improve your life--with online income being part of that effort--you deserve to know something about me.   Because I totally understand that you don't want to waste your time reading stuff put out by a slacker.

So, of course, it's really all about YOU, not me.

The great college football coach and speaker, Lou Holtz, said,

"When you meet someone for the first time, you always ask
the same 3 questions.  You don't realize it, but you do."
They are:   1. "Can I trust you?"
                                     2.  "Are you committed to excellence?"
                                     3.  "Do you care about me?"

                      - Trust -       - Committment -       - Care-

Because you're here, I'm assuming you're hoping to get answers to these 3 questions.  Somehow without meeting me in person.

I hope I'm able to answer them to your satisfaction!

I'm not going to write one of those cheesy third person self-bios that so many
marketers do nowadays---like, "Charles did this, blah blah.  He was a great blah
blah.  Then he did this blah blah..."  (As if someone else wrote it---r i i ight.)

So at the risk of seeming egotistical (but we're all a bit egotistical, aren't we?),
here's a short 'first person' bio that follows the "Trust, Committment, Care" sequence:

1. Trust:

Do you know anyone who served the full 20 years in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or
Marines?

Well, I did 20 years in the Army and had an unbroken string of "Good Conduct
Medals."  However, if you've spent any time in the military, you know this really
doesn't mean squat!
But, hey, if the government trusts me, shouldn't you?  ;-)

Stealing Some Credibility From Mark Joyner

Although I didn't know him personally, Mark Joyner was in the Army at the same
time I was.  Mark Joyner is regarded as one of the most trusted and respected
pioneers of the internet.  He's the genius behind "The Confidential Internet
Manuscript," also "Simpleology 101 -103," and a dozen other very popular
books.

So before I'd even read one word that Mark had written, I was already proud of
him and a believer in anything he came out with---being a fellow soldier and all.  I just wish I would've taken action like Mark did in internet marketing while in the Army---instead of just read about it!...

...But nevertheless, I was finally able to sell my little, one-man carpet-cleaning business
(that I'd started after getting out of the Army) and work full-time in internet marketing.
So if I can do this, you can too!!

An ex-President trusted me with his life

Made 1000's of free fall parachute jumps as a member of the Army's "Golden
Knights" parachute team.  (I'd made over 1200 jumps as a weekend civilian skydiver prior to joining the Army.)

By the way, I'm still an active skydiver and fly to the east coast regularly to jump with a
team largely made up of ex-Golden Knights.  We make about 200-300 jumps per year---a small fraction of what we used to do. But as of now, I've made a total of over 15,000 jumps...and I was never killed---not even once!   ;-)

In 1997, I was part of a group that was to take 'ole ex-Pres. George H.W. Bush up for
his second free fall jump (we didn't--it's a long story)....his first was out of his stricken TBM Avenger when he was shot down while making a bombing run on Chichi Jima (in the Pacific Theatre during WWII).

Here's a photo of us together a couple days before the jump...I'm the tall dude standing to Bush's left, your right...
 George H.W. Bush jump

That fabric hanging behind us is a parachute...makes an awful backdrop for the photo with our black 'n gold jumpsuits, though.

(By the way, you may think that because I'm prior military and participated in activities with ex-Pres. Bush, that I'm a Republican.  Maybe I am, maybe I'm not.  The point is, I'm definitely no politician!)

  2. Committed to Excellence:

As a member of the Golden Knights, I was privileged to be on a team of talented
jumpers that together earned 4 World Championships of Formation Skydiving in
'87-Brazil, '89-Spain, 95-France, and '97-Turkey.

                                              How Old Are You?

I don't know your age, but no matter what your age I think you can appreciate this quick story:

There was--and still is--an age limit for acceptance into the Army's flight school--28 yrs old is the limit.  (By the way, the Air Force's age limit to get into their flight program is 24)...

Anyway, I was 30 years old and had to get an "Age Waiver" approved to get in.  The
reason that there is an age limit, I was told, is because statistics show that the
"older" students took longer to learn; their failure rate was higher.  "You can't teach
an old dog new tricks" I was told.  "Failures are expensive for the Army."

So you can imagine my surprise and the surprise of the instructors when I graduated #1 in my class out of 41 student pilots...."Distinquished Honor Graduate!"

Who says us 'old' guys can't learn?!  Put that in your pipe and smoke it U.S. Army!

3. Care:

(In other words, do I care about you?)

I hope you realize by now that I care at least as much or more as any other host does for their guests.  Even though I haven't hired a programmer from Rent-A-Coder to code some software in my name, I hope to provide you some guidance towards that one path...

that one path....stick to that one path and ignore all others!

(If you don't know what the "one path" is, be sure to read "The Internet Marketing
Money-Suck Vortex From Hell
" report, a.k.a. "The Vortex Report.)

What follows is a little side-story about (part of) my motivation to be successful at internet marketing.  I think it's important to have something(s) to help keep you motivated to achieve any sort of financial goal.

                                     My Dream

You may have noticed that I love the beach.  Below is a photo from Google Earth of our cottage in North Carolina.  It's not right on the beach, as you can see, but it's a start!
(Matter of fact, it's only one step up from a shack...but hey, I'm just gettin' started!)

Cottage at the beach

My dream is to be able to fly my own little airplane to a tropical beach whenever I want...

SCUBA dive at all the good spots around the world...taste the food and the drinks from all the best getaway locations.

Where a hot day of skin diving and/or SCUBA diving in crystal clear water turns into a mild evening, with the sun setting and casting a long, orangish glow across the water.  A light breeze rustles the palm trees...a distant thunderstorm near the horizon flashes occasionally...a friend or three shares this with you....or, you're just enjoying this all to yourself this evening.

Whew...where were we?  Oh yea, internet marketing--which is one vehicle by which you
and I can make our dreams a reality, in part by freeing us from having to be stuck to one geographic location.  It's been the "X Factor" in giving me the freedom to chase my dreams.

It can be yours too--and in much shorter time than it took me.
